What Past InternsHave Said
[Roadmap partner] was a great mentor - he showed me how to do great work and taught me every step of the wayFormer intern
[Roadmap partner] is a great career mentor, and I'm certain that I wouldn't be where I am if Roadmap had not taken me as an intern that Summer. He has given me valuable feedback and advice that I still turn to 3 years later.Former undergraduate intern
[Roadmap partner] served as a tremendous mentor to me and my fellow intern. He regularly carved out sessions to walk through formal training materials (self-developed presentations covering the "ins-and-outs" of the financial services industry) and candidly answer any of our questions regarding near-term career choices or the industry as a whole.Elizabeth, former undergraduate intern
The partners made themselves readily available for advice and guidance during my summer, as well. A few weeks prior to my internship starting, they took the time to run practice technical interviews over the phone. Former undergraduate intern
In the years following [my internship], he has been consistently and promptly available to answer my many career questions, even proactively offering contacts and job opportunities when he felt they would be a good fit. I consider [Roadmap partner] a friend and trusted advisor and would strongly recommend him as a boss--it is a relationship you will value throughout your career! Former undergraduate intern
Great mentee experience; my contributions were valued and I stayed connected long after internship. I had the opportunity to assess real deals and honed my financial modeling skills. Most importantly, I learned to assess the qualitative (non-quantitative) aspects of a deal. Former MBA Intern
My internship helped me develop skills that I use on a regular basis as an investment professional. [Roadmap partner] has deep experience managing the deal flow process and thought me how to effectively conduct industry research and identify target companies.Joe, former MBA intern
I learned more technical and modeling skills than I did in any other internship or Wall St. training program, and got to build full models as well as learn how to think strategically from an investors' perspective.John, former undergraduate intern
Roadmap Advisors was an amazing experience to receive during my last semester of undergrad. These experiences established a strong foundation to build a career upon. Roadmap Advisors was a great opportunity to learn and grow.Dean, former undergraduate intern
My summer within the Roadmap Advisors internship program was one of unparalleled learning and deal execution in the middle market M&A space. I got exposed to live deals, sat on conference calls with company founders, and contributed to marketing material for clients. The lean size of the team enabled me to take on genuine responsibility seeing a deal go from start to finish, while still experiencing a collegial and encouraging environment.Kelvin, former undergraduate intern
My internship was an excellent experience. It allowed me to keep my financial skills relevant while I was finishing my master’s program and it offered great flexibility. More importantly, I became a better critical thinker. Roadmap encouraged independent research but maintained an open dialogue which let me see into his thought process when analyzing prospective deals. Kyle, former master's student intern
