I interned with Roadmap Advisors for a full year. I chose to stay with the firm each semester because it was such a valuable experience for me. Roadmap changed the trajectory of my career. As interns, we were assigned meaningful work, provided with resources and personalized training, and allowed the freedom to work around our busy schedules as students. The entire team was clearly invested in our development. They were always open to questions and feedback, gave us tasks that helped our learning, and repeatedly checked in on our career progress. I could not have asked for a better start to my career in finance.

I got a sales and trading internship offer from Barclays, and I will be interning in NYC office next summer. Even though most of the things I did at Roadmap Advisors are related to M&A and investment banking instead of s&t, this internship experience made me understand more about ib and realize that I am more interested in S&T. Max and Jeremy are so nice and helpful that except for assigning the tasks, they are very willing to answer my questions and give advice on my recruiting. In addition, the whole internship program is very organized with weekly meetings, efficient communication platform like Workspace, etc. I will highly recommend students who are interested in finance like me to intern at Roadmap Advisors to explore whether they are interested in IB or learn more about finance n general. Again, really appreciate all of the help from Roadmap Advisors!

I was an undergraduate intern for Max in 2011. Max served as a tremendous mentor to me and my fellow intern. He regularly carved out sessions to walk through formal training materials (self-developed presentations covering the "ins-and-outs" of the financial services industry) and candidly answer any of our questions regarding near-term career choices or the industry as a whole. In the years following my work for Max, he has been consistently and promptly available to answer my many career questions, even proactively offering contacts and job opportunities when he felt they would be a good fit. I consider Max a friend and trusted advisor and would strongly recommend him as a boss–it is a relationship you will value throughout your career!

My summer within the Roadmap Advisors internship program was one of unparalleled learning and deal execution in the middle market M&A space. I got exposed to live deals, sat on conference calls with company founders, and contributed to marketing material for clients. The lean size of the team enabled me to take on genuine responsibility seeing a deal go from start to finish, while still experiencing a collegial and encouraging environment. The managing directors made themselves readily available for advice and guidance during my summer, as well. A few weeks prior to my internship starting, Max took the time to run practice technical interviews over the phone. Their professional network runs deep across the financial services industry; from private equity principals to corporate executives, they are not shy to connect you with the right people and opportunities. I had a tremendous experience this summer, and would not hesitate to recommend anyone of you interested in finance, investment banking, or business in general to apply to their program.
